ERS and tuberculosis

Symposium

Aims: This symposium will highlight some of the core achievement in Tuberculosis prevention and control. The focus will be on tuberculosis projects which involved ERS.Specific objectives are to inform the audience about the new ATS guidelines (which had been developed in collaboration with ERS) and the requisite that new treatment regimens for TB need to have (Target Product Profiles-TPPs- as developed by WHO). During the session the new WHO document on new anti-TB regimens TPPs will be officially launched. Furthermore, the results of the WHO LTBI implementation plan and of the WHO/ERS digital health projects will be presented.
