Aims: to provide a case-based session, with a special focus on imaging, that explains the role of imaging of emphysema in a preoperative setting and evaluation before endobronchial valve implantation or LVRS, with a special focus on available imaging software, the role of the new imaging technique photon counting CT in comparison with HRCT for ILD imaging and how to identify the most common ILD patterns on HRCT. A clinician and a radiologist will evaluate the cases, and there will be interactive involvement of the audience.
