Pre-clinical discovery and testing of new approaches to lung repair

Year in review
Aims: to provide an overview of some key recent publications that have identified and tested novel therapeutic targets in pre-clinical models. A variety of pulmonary diseases will be covered. Hereby the clinical audience can foresee and debate potential of translation into the clinical and receive insight into novel strategies taken in the laboratory to identify and test targets. Studies can serve as examples for basic and translational scientists and can instigate further mechanistic research.
