From the new ERJ: the burden of cardio-pulmonary diseases

Aims: The newly appointed Chief Editor of the European Respiratory Journal, the flagship publication of the European Respiratory Society, is delighted to invite you to this clinically-oriented lunchtime session focusing on the burden of cardiopulmonary diseases. The editors and advisors of the European Respiratory Journal have recently invited international leaders in chest medicine to publish updated states of the art on cardiopulmonary aspects of COPD as well as acute and chronic thrombo-embolic pulmonary disease. This session will discuss cutting edge published and unpublished data on these major thoracic conditions.
