ERS Task Forces and Guidelines: procedures, methodology and publication

Aims: To provide insights into the ERS procedures and methodology that are used to develop guidelines and consensus statements, illustrate the role of journals (in particular those within the ERS portfolio) in publishing this information and update the audience regarding the major recent task forces/guidelines in pulmonary hypertension, field walking tests in chronic respiratory disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome.
Target audience: Respiratory clinicians, nurses, educators, and students.
