Emerging occupational and environmental lung hazards: from asthma to interstitial disease

Symposium
Chairs: Paul Blanc (San Francisco, United States of America), Paul Cullinan (London, United Kingdom)
Aims: To describe emerging exposure-disease relationships, delineate novel pathogenic scenarios for otherwise "idiopathic" conditions, contextualise disease prevention for the practicing pulmonary clinician and expand the differential diagnosis for cases of lung disease with an otherwise unclear aetiology.
Target audience: Clinicians who encounter lung diseases of unclear aetiology and researchers (including those applied public health) who are investigating disease outbreaks.
