Educational aims
The aim of this web-based course is to update the participants on
influenza by addressing the following topics:
- epidemiology of annual influenza
- economic burden at societal level
- differential diagnosis of influenza in relation to other
infections of the respiratory tract
- clinical diagnosis vs laboratory-confirmed diagnosis
- vaccine safety, efficacy and effectiveness
- pandemic influenza
