Target audience
- The main target audience are trainees in respiratory medicine
and young doctors.
Educational aims
After completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Screen patients at risk for COPD.
- Discuss the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of COPD,
including current diagnostic criteria, outpatient
pharmacological management and oxygen therapy, counseling and
coordination of care and management of acute exacerbations
requiring hospitalization.
