Target audience
Endoscopic lung volume reduction (ELVR) is being established as an additional treatment for patients with severe emphysema in several countries. Patient selection and prior assessment are essential requirements to provide these techniques to these patients. The participants will learn which diagnostic tests the patient requires as well as how to interpret the CT finding. They will learn which technique should be applied to which patient and also how to identify and manage potential complications. Workshops will be dedicated to developing practical skills in different procedures and techniques.

- understand which technique to apply during the intervention.
- be able to manage complications effectively.
- develop practical valve and coil placement skills.
