Educational aims

The aim of this postgraduate course is to discuss clinical challenges in COPD within a true clinical environment involving both a short theoretic and a practical part. Topics included:

  • Clinical signs and symptoms of acute exacerbated COPD
  • Indications and methods of non-invasive mechanical ventilation
  • Indications and methods of invasive mechanical ventilation
