The ERS Handbook of Respiratory Sleep Medicine will be officially launched during the ERS Congress in Vienna. The content of this newest handbook will closely follow the syllabus developed by the respiratory Sleep HERMES task force based on 9 syllabus modules. The handbook will closely follow the structure developed to help those working in the field recognise symptoms, reach a diagnosis and deliver practical treatment recommendations.

The ERS Handbook: Self Assessment in Respiratory Medicine will also be launched during the Vienna congress. This handbook will provide candidates hoping to sit the HERMES examination with 111 examination questions and short descriptions on answers.
