  • To provide a comprehensive understanding of the physiological basis of exercise testing
  • To identify the indications and the protocols used in clinical setting (i.e.  incremental, constant

  • To discuss the clinical applications of exercise testing in lung and heart diseases 
  • To enable participants to understand the utility of exercise testing in the prescription and evaluation of rehabilitation programmes
  • To detail the emerging importance of exercise testing in the prognostic setting
