Treating IPF according to ATS/ERS/JRS/ALAT Clinical Practice Guideline 2015

After completion of this module, the participant will be able to:

1- To review what key guideline treatment recommendations actually mean in terms of decision making in clinical practice.

2-  In this regard, to deal with confusion arising from specialised guideline jargon, especially including “conditional positive” and “conditional negative” recommendations.

3- To discuss the rationale of key changes in recommendations from the previous guideline.

4- To highlight areas of major therapeutic uncertainty that need to be clarified before publication of the next update.
